STM32F429IG是ST公司最新推出的高性能ARM Cortex-M4內核MCU,基于32位RISC架構，內核工作頻率高達180兆赫。具有一個浮點單元（FPU），支持所有的ARM單精度數據處理指令和數據類型的單精度。它還實現了一套完整的DSP指令和內存保護單元（MPU），從而提高應用程序的安全性。

 STM32F4x9IG自帶液晶屏控制器，RGB屏再也不用加控制芯片了！開發板用的是RGB888(24-bits)接口(STM32F429 Discovery kit 用的是RGB666接口) 。下圖為4.3寸液晶屏模塊背面圖：
