1.System or Market Architect, Consumer Vertical Market, Asia Pacific

Work Location: China

This person will be the lead “define market and/or application” system architect within the Consumer Vertical Market. He or she will drive our product definition and application platform strategy to ensure successful penetration of the market.

Duties:

    Support development of the strategic plan for the business:
    Application platform strategy & roadmap
    Ecosystem partner strategy & roadmap
    Drive the creation and execution of high value products:
    Create long-term architectural level relationships with the technical experts who design and influence the evolution of the target application at both customers and customer’s customer.
    Drive product definition sessions with key architects at target customers.
    Ensure application/market requirements drive product technical specifications.
    Drive feasibility assessments and recommend/review/approve product definitions with PM, TME, and other relevant groups, as applicable.
    Technical lead w/ identified ecosystem partners for the business.
    Drive the Consumer ecosystem development
    Select the appropriate partners working together with our “partnership group”
    Select the right solutions
    Create the needed consumer ecosystem
    Drive unique and compelling value into the application roadmaps and product definitions for silicon and IP (both horizontal and market specific).
    Support the execution of Business Development strategies for the target application/market:
    Contribute to Sales account penetration plans.
    Define prioritized Design Win targets.
    Provide systems architecture and solutions support for sales efforts.
    Lead technical response (architectural proposal) to RFQs and RFPs.
    Support system-level design-in applications collateral - articles, demos, technical keynotes, panel presentations, and trade show support.

Required:

    Degree in Electronics Engineering
    Minimum 5-7 years experience in the required discipline
    Demonstrated ability to solve complex system-level problems
    Demonstrated ability to create compelling technical design-in cases
    Excellent communication and presentation skills

Desired:
    Masters in Electronics Engineering or MBA
    Semiconductor industry experience
    Established technical contacts within the targeted customer base
    Experience in project management

2.Wired Solution Architect

Work Location: China

Support account penetration plans and support for assigned major accounts
– - Create long term architecture level customer engagements

Platform Architecture and Product Definition

Job Requirements

- 5 to 10 years experience

3.Senior Strategic Applications Engineer (IO Focused)

Work Location : Beijing

Role

To provide technical support to key Xilinx global and strategic accounts. Will work with Xilinx account sales representatives and FAEs to solve FPGA design and implementation problem. This role will include customer training, conducting design reviews, technical problem solving and design consultancy. Will also provide support for advanced product introductions into the Asia Pacific region through initial customer support, the training of Xilinx FAEs and the support of marketing activities such as seminars and conferences.

Requirements

    A Degree in Electronic Engineering with five years or above experience in IC/PCB designing or supporting is necessary.
    Experience of Xilinx FPGA design flow and design tool is a must.
    Experience with high speed IO design is preferred.
    Knowledge in high speed IO protocols design/implementation, e.g. Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, XAUI, SONET, SPI 4.2, SFI 4.1, Serial RapidIO, PCI Express, SDI, HD-SDI is an asset.
    Experience with signal integrity issues in complex PCB design and implementation process is a plus.
    Good analytical & problem solving skills are required along with self-motivation and demonstrated successful team work.
    Have good interpersonal, written and group communication skills and be fluent in English.
    May require travel.

Huawei FAE (Work Location: Shanghai)

As part of Xilinx sales team, FAE sells and supports Xilinx solutions that result in design wins, achieve revenue target as well as increase market share. Responsible for all aspect of the design win process. Extensive FPGA technical support (pre-sales) in wireless application. Through in-depth product knowledge, provides both pre-sales and support to the sales force and customers. Provides, presents, and interprets design, application, and service information in a variety of situations, including complex requirements and negotiations. Develops product specifications and applications usable by a specific customer and explores the business feasibility of general marketing.

Role

    Through in-depth product knowledge, do product presentations to design groups highlighting our features and advantages over the competition.
    Work with individual designers to map their application into one of our devices all the while making optimal use of our hardware features and software IP
    Understand company product portfolio and be able to appropriately recommend one product vs. another
    During design implementation, help the designer combine various pieces of company IP with the customer’s application and get it through the tools.
    Help the designer with timing closure, if needed
    Do design/pinot reviews with engineers before they go out for boards
    Assist the designer with FPGA specific problems during lab debug

Requirements

5. Embedded Specialist – Shanghai

Work Location : Shanghai

Embedded specialist’s primary role is the technical selling and support of Xilinx embedded solutions at the system-level for Xilinx customers. He/She researches, evaluates and conducts detailed system architecture analysis in order to articulate Xilinx advantages and present Xilinx Embedded solutions. Drive design wins, working closely with sales representatives and Xilinx sales management and FAEs. Coordinate, facilitate and optimize deployment of Xilinx technical resource. Develop strong relationship with Xilinx customers and become a “Trusted Adviser” on key customer projects.

In addition, Embedded specialist provides customer technical requirement/feedback to Xilinx product development team. He/She also evangelizes and articulates Xilinx Embedded solutions through technical seminars, presentations and demonstrations. Occasional, Embedded specialist also conducts internal and external embedded trainings on Xilinx embedded products/tools, and establish technical cooperation with external partners. As a senior level position, the Specialist is a highly motivated self-starter and requires little day-to-day supervision.

Requirement:

    Familiar with FPGA development environment, experience of PicroBlaze, MicroBlaze, PowerPC, ARM or other embedded CPU development
    Strong experience of C/C++ coding
    Strong experience of Linux or other RTOS system device driver development
    Strong experience of implementation of communication or multimedia processing system. Good understanding of communication or multimedia coding standard is preferred.
    Experience with VHDL and Verilog synthesis is desired
    Familiar with PCB hardware design is preferred
    Requires good communication and presentation skills, and experience working with customers in a pre-sale process is preferred
    Minimum of Bachelor degree (Master preferred) with 6+ years of embedded experience

6. IO Specialist

Work Location： Beijing & Shenzhen

System IO FAEs frequently interface with customers to help them architect and implement systems using Xilinx IO technology. Primary role is the technical selling and support of Xilinx System IO connectivity solutions at the system-. Research, evaluate and conduct detailed system architecture analysis in order to articulate Xilinx advantages and present Xilinx solutions. Signal Integrity Knowledge
- Understand channel loss, impedance discontinuity, and PCB design techniques for multi-gigabit signaling
- Understand how the effects of transmit pre-emphasis and receive equalization are used to compensate for channel
characteristics
- Have hands on experience with measurement equipments (high speed scopes, TDR) and board debug
- Experience with analog simulation tools for modeling transmission lines
- Ability to assist customers with board design review both on usage of Xilinx FPGA and provide advice on high speed channel design
- Working knowledge of H-Spice, Hyperlynx, Ansoft, Spectraquest

Protocol Knowledge
- Understand common SERDES features such as encoding/decoding, byte-alignment, clock correction, channel bonding, elastic buffer

Design Knowedge
- Ability to put together demo designs and reference designs for customer using VHDL or Verilog

Excellent communication and presentation skills and experience working with customers in a pre-sales capacity.

Minimum of BSEE (MSEE preferred) with 6+ years of experience.

7.Strategic Applications Engineer (SAE)

Work Location：– Chengdu & Shanghai

SAE provide application support and engineering consultancy to Xilinx Customers and Sales staff on all Xilinx products. This will include customer training, conducting and leading design reviews, in-depth technical problem solving, and design consultancy. Will also provide support for advanced product introductions into the Asia Pacific region through initial customer support, the training of Xilinx FAEs and the support of marketing activities such as seminars and conferences.

Requirement

    A bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering with experience of PC systems is essential.
    Five years of experience in IC designing or support is necessary.
    Must have FPGA design skills and proficiency in Xilinx or other FPGA company design tool.
    Must have strong interpersonal, telephone, written and group communication skills.
    Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
    Good analytical & problem solving skills are required along with self-motivation, and demonstrated successful team work.
    Frequent travel is required.
